Daisy was born in Alaska. She came to live here
on April 20, 2002. She gave birth to Cinca, whose
death created Heaven Sent Hedgehogs. Daisy loved to do the 7th Inning
Stretch. She was a character in all ways. Last October she was the Grand
Champion of her class at the Mile High Hedgehog Show in Colorado Springs.
When she was awarded her ribbons, she would scoot under them then toss
them off her nose.
Last night at 5:12 pm Daisy was promoted from Commander of the 2nd
Hedgehog Marine Regiment (Prairie Dog)
2d Hedgehog Marine Division Colonel UHMC to Brigadier General, United
Hedgehog Marine Corps. Everybody loved Daisy. She was pernickety but
always kept her quills down. She was ornery. Even during her last hours,
she didn't want to let go. She passed on the chest of her daddy, who loved
her beyond words. She was 6 years, 1 month and 25 days old when she went
to join her daughter Cinca, her squeeze Mr. Paco and all of the other
Heaven Sent Hedgehogs.
Our hearts are breaking, but we've told Daisy Good-Bye many times in the
past years. We are grateful that she is now tip toeing to the Rainbow
Bridge. She was a strong, yet funny girl. We will miss her and always love
and laugh at the character she was.
Go in peace, dear one and be sure to give our love to your daughter, your
lover and all the hedgehogs that have gone on before you from Heaven Sent.
Right now, words can not express how awesome a character you were. You
certainly changed the life of hedgehogs for the wonderful person you were.
We love and will always miss you, Baby Girl.
Gushes of Hugs to you Always,
Mom and Dad
We love you Baby Girl and want to thank you for all the things you did in
our lives. You changed us in so many ways. You were so incredible and
awesome.
